AFI tops Agora Awards

ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc. – Managing Director Gina Lopez received the Advocacy Marketing Excellence in the Agora Awards on November 10, 2009 at Intercontinental Hotel, Makati City.
Philippine Marketing Association, maker of the Agora Awards, acknowledged the remarkable programs of ABS-CBN Foundation which successfully served the different sectors of the society; children (Bantay Bata), environment (Bantay Kalikasan), education (E-Media), calamity victims (Sagip Kapamilya), communities (Bayanijuan) and the historical Pasig River (Kapit Bisig para sa Ilog Pasig).
Lopez thanked ABS-CBN Network, specifically Gabby Lopez, Charo Santos and Cory Vidanes for espousing the efforts of the foundation. She also expressed gratitude to the donor companies who fueled funds to help the needy and improve the environment.
Co-winners of the Agora Awards include Sun Cellular as Marketing Company of the Year; Alaska for Marketing Management Excellence; Procter & Gamble for Overseas Marketing Excellence; Alliance Tuna for Export Marketing Excellence; Mang Inasal, Mega Publishing Corporation and Lot’s A Pizza for Large, Medium and Small Scale Entrepreneurship Excellence.
