Caryl Diamante

As an advocacy to ensure the rights of the children, Bantay Bata 163 Negros conducts Supplemental Feeding Program to 100 malnourished children in Handumanan Elementary School in Bacolod.
With staunch support of Tay Tung High School Alumni Association headed by Elbert Valencia, the Supplemental Feeding Program was launched on June 20, 2009 and began the feeding proper from June 22, 2009 until August 25, 2009. This program includes feeding beneficiaries five times a week, medical mission and soup kitchen program. The said program is under Bantay Kalusugan Campaign and part of Tay Tung’s outreach activity in celebration of its Jubilee Year.
Aside from the Feeding Program, Bantay Bata 163 Negros regularly conducts advocacies to parents, teachers and other stakeholders on important topics such as child abuse, parenting skills and responsible parenthood. A school garden will also be created as part of the feeding program’s sustainable project.
Bantay Bata 163 Negros invites other generous groups and individuals to support its activities under the Community Outreach Program. Donations for its beneficiaries under the Medical Assistance Program are also welcome. For more information, please contact Bantay Bata 163 Negros at (034) 433-9071.
